Questions and Answers about Dalewood Designs GB

How long does it take for processing and Delivery?

Items are designed and made by us once the order has been placed and payment has been made. This involves manually designing where the text should go for the name(s) given and setting the design up according to the colour choices and then printing it on a 3D printer (which can take several hours per item). Orders are then checked, packaged up and posted (using Royal Mail). This is normally all done in 2-3 working days of receiving the order, although it can vary from 1-5 days depending on how busy we are (for example it can take longer at Christmas but still will always be dispatched within 5 days). The time it takes to arrive after that depends on the Royal Mail but is typically 1 day for 1st class and 2-3 days for second class.

What countries do you deliver to?

Currently from this dalewooddesignsgb.co.uk site we only deliver to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
If you live outside of the United Kingdom and would like to place an order please contact us.

What plastic do you use – is it bad for the environment?

We use PLA filament (PolyLactic Acid) or PLA+ for all our items.
This is different to most thermoplastic polymers because it is made from renewable resources such as corn starch and sugarcane.
It is a biomass plastic which is also biodegradable and recyclable at certain facilities and is considered food safe.
So overall much better for the environment than most other plastics used in 3D printing or in packaging. We also use solar panels to help power our 3D printer (when British weather allows!) and send the orders out in boxes and padding that can all be recycled.

Can I have a Custom/ bespoke item?

All of our items are custom made – so you can get the right colour and text to personalise your items how you want!
If you like the look of an item but want it done a bit differently then just send us a message with details and we can see what we can do.
We are coming up with new designs and ideas all the time and welcome further suggestions, so if you cant quite find what you are looking for or have a new idea for something then let us know and we will see if we can design and make it for you!

What are the Sizing details?

If you have any questions around the sizing of items that are not clear from the listings then please send us a message.
The exact size of several items will vary depending on the length of the custom name/ text you have requested.

What is your Returns and cancellations policy?

If you have any issue with your order please contact us straight away by either replying to the order email or using the contact form on our website so we can help as solve any issues or queries as soon as possible.

If you would like to return an item you must:

  • Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
  • Send items back within: 28 days of delivery
Conditions of return
  • Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
